I ordered the items from Approved Food on the saturday before the Bank Holiday and it turned up this morning ( Wednesday) at 9am, four days after my order was placed, but I was warned twice that it could take a bit longer than normal as it was a bank holiday weekend, So it actually arrived quicker than I was expecting !.
The delivery driver told me that the box was heavy and asked would I like him to carry it inside for me, which doesn’t normally happen these days !!
When the box was opened there was an inventory of my order on top of the goods, so it was easy to tick things off, again in big writing, was how much i had saved which was a nice little reminder 🙂
Everything was packed really well in little compartment boxes, so my apples were not bruised and the crisp’s remained whole and did not arrive in Crumbs, which was a worry.
I am really quite shocked at the amount of dry goods that I received, normally I can get lot’s of fresh shopping for pennies, but dry goods are often more difficult to get reductions on.
I am extremely pleased with my buys, and after checking all the packaging, i cannot find fault with any of it. I will most definitely be using Approved Foods again and I will also recommend them as I feel they offer excellent value for money, a great back up service as they keep in contact to tell you where your food is and when it is expected to be delivered and the quailty of the products is faultless.
This is not a biased review but an honest account of a start to finish process with Approved.
