Natural remedy for teething babies, is what most of us parents crave for and my biggest tip is to use
Teething Pain Relief
I have often found a Mango wearing a reduced sticker, and a ripe mango works really well for me as they are great to mash up and add to a smoothie , jam or even a Curry.
How to prepare a mango for a baby?
A soft ripe Mango is what is ideal for a baby as the flesh will mush up really well, and if you have a lot of mango, this can be popped into ice cube trays and frozen, ready for when you need to add it to something or a great idea if you have a day out planned, is to pop out the frozen Mango into a clean ,sealed container and by the time you need it, it is a ready made snack or dessert for the ever hungry one, which will not only save you money on tinned food, but you know that your giving your baby the best possible start in life with really good and nutritious food.
My biggest tip that I can share with you is that of the Mango stone. This was what my children regularly chowed down on when they were teething and it helped them immensely. It is a fantastic natural remedy for teething babies, the Pip will not break off into their mouth, and as long as you have removed most of the flesh from the stone, then the babies will often suck and bite down on the stone giving them some relief from their throbbing gums and sore mouths. If you put the mango stone into the refrigerator for several hours before you plan to give it to them, this will make the stone extra cold and pain relieving for their gums. If they are not fussed on the taste of the mango, don’t give up, try them again a couple of days later.
However, I would never leave the baby alone with the mango stone or would I give it too them so often as the natural acid in the fruit could give their baby teeth a detrimental effect if used too often. I hope my tip on a natural remedy for teething babies has helped.
