We all know that I love shopping at Lidl, and despite the name of this blog being Reduced Grub, the Lidl toiletries for men are absolute bargains and great dupes for some of the bigger names in toiletries. Here I’ll show you my favourite picks.

Lidl toiletries – Cien men’s antiperspirant

The Lidl Cien Men’s roll-on antiperspirant is a firm favourite in our household, because it is cheap and it works. The effects last 48 hours, like the most common antiperspirants on sale.

Unlike a body spray, the ingredients in antiperspirants work by temporarily blocking the sweat ducts, and this reduces the amount of sweat that gets released onto the skin’s surface. It is most commonly applied to the underarm and can come in a roll-on, stick or spray.

At the time of writing (March 2024), the Lidl Cien Men’s roll-on antiperspirant cost just £0.79.

There are a few reasons that men choose to use a shaving gel when shaving their faces.

Lynx Africa might be loved by teenage boys, but my husband also still loves the scent. It is getting more and more expensive to buy, so when we spotted this dupe in Lidl he wanted to give it a try. He has now been using it for over a year and still loves it.

When choosing what to always buy at Lidl, we definitely recommend this!

It smells just like the real thing, but for a fraction of the cost. In fact, on the receipt it is even listed as ‘Africa shower gel’ and costs just £0.55p, compared to around £1.25 for the real thing. That’s less than half price, and it smells just the same.
