Here at Reduced Grub we love shopping at Lidl! The Lidl bakery is our absolute favourite, but today we wanted to take a look at the Lidl gin available in store.
If you don’t know who Lidl are, they are a discount supermarket who offer fantastic value for money across their range. They have award winning foods such as Lidl cheese and they even offer a fantastic app to help you to get Lidl vouchers.
What is gin?
Gin is an alcoholic drink, found in the spirits section, that has been around for centuries. It is made from a combination of juniper berries, citrus fruits, spices, and other botanicals. The flavour of gin varies depending on the type of ingredients used in its production.
It can range from floral and fruity to strong and spicy. Gin is often used as an ingredient in cocktails, such as the classic Martini or Gimlet.
It can also be enjoyed neat or on the rocks with a twist of lemon or lime. Gin has become increasingly popular in recent years due to its versatility and unique flavour profile.

At Lidl you can get the Greenall’s wild berry gin infused with blackberries and raspberries in a 700ml bottle.

Hortus London Dry gin, this hand-crafted gin is a botanical gin available in 700ml.
You can also get Hortus Japanese Cherry Blossom gin in 700ml.
The Original London dry gin from Greenall’s is a gin available at Lidl.
Hortus winter berries pink gin, this hand-crafted gin has been infused with raspberry, cranberry and blackberry, and is available in 700ml.
Finton’s Special London Dry Gin is available in 700ml, and 37.5% vol.
Finton’s Pink Gin is available as a Lidl gin in 700ml, and 37.5% vol.
Joanne Moore Master Distiller’s Bloom Jasmine and Rose gin is a limited edition Lidl gin.
Is Lidl gin good value for money?
If you are looking to get value for money then Lidl rarely lets you down.
Comparing a like for like bottle of gin from Lidl and Tesco, you can see that it is available at Lidl for £10.69, and £11.75 at Tesco.
That’s a saving of £1.06 by getting your gin from Lidl instead of Tesco.
