2019 has welcomed so many summer festivals across the UK however, my absolute favourite has to be Valley Fest in the South West !
Soooooooo many boxes are ticked with this weekend of fun from family friendly and pretentious free, which is a must for me as I like to feel welcome and comfortable !
Razorlight headed the main stage on the Saturday night, but other top acts graced the crowds over the weekend from Basement Jaxx to Norman Jay MBE.
Next years acts are yet to be announced, however you know they are going to be pretty fab, so I have taken advantage of the early bird prices and picked up next years tickets for a discounted price (fingers and toes crossed that the rain jogs on !)
The food was on point with all bases covered from vegan to gluten free and luckily it was offered without the crazy price tag ! Its all locally sourced and sustainable from the South west, which makes it a whole lot more interesting !
If your a seasoned camper, you can save heaps by prepping your own grub and not to worry about humping all your gear from the car to the campsite, as there is a genius tractor taxi which runs on a schedule.
Crazy costumes are so very welcome at this event, and to be honest the sillier the better, grown men in fairy costumes and kids dressed as Freddie Mercury are a regular sight and with loads of quirky and comfy seats dotted around, so you can people watch in comfort.
Check out Valley fest and hopefully you too can enjoy next years offerings !
