Choosing gifts for teenage girls needn’t be hard!
So your Disney Princess is no longer and you are secretly pleased that you had to let it go with Frozen, However, you have had to welcome a sleep loving, moody teen that not only knows everything (Durrrrrrr mum !) but is an absolute nightmare to buy for, as you are officially not cool anymore. So I have spent some time looking at some Epic ( latest word BTW !) teenage gifts, that will knock spots of New Look gift Vouchers and pressies that will often get pushed under the bed.
This funky little number is a gorgeous Holographic Glitter Makeup Bag from the high street store Accessorize and is currently retailing at a decent price of £12. Easy to find as you can’t miss it and a nice size for storing lip sticks and mascara (if they have progressed on from Lip salve that is !).
These 7th Heaven face masks are a fab stocking filler as they are cheap as chips, a great way of getting the girls to pay attention to their skin and come in a fab array of flavours for both the face and hair. These are available in many chemists, Superdrug and even online.
I am sure that most of us reading this would of had some dreadful memories of going out with crazy coloured foundation or tide marks on our jaw, so why not stop the embarrassment of our girls going through this, by gifting them a real make up lesson. Into the Blue offer regional pamper packages and make up tutorials which would make an excellent present, and it has a great variation of the budgets to match. Mac Make up, Clinque, massages and facials are all on offer, just click your location and you can get an idea.
This neon sign can be personalised to what ever they like, Sunday it could say SLEEP and Monday could say I hate school, so not only does it look fab, but it is also fun. Pick between a blue or Pink light. It can flash or remain illuminated and is great as a night light. The DIY Neon Light is available from Argos and is part of the T3K range from Paladone.

Now this is a great example of a love it or hate it present, and personally I love it but I have to hide the shovel from the other half, as he could easily bury me with it. This bottle of goodness is something that both my teenage daughter and I use, as it is great for oily, spot prone skin and has many other uses. Use it to smooth hair, as you would Moroccan oil, dab on spots, smoothing and making eyebrows stay in place, the list is endless and a little goes a lonnnng way, as the Rosehip Oil is 100% natural and 3 drops from the droplet is all you need to moisturise your chops. Have a look at the website to get a more in-depth look, but a great product to get your teen on the road to good skincare.
If your teen is a magazine reader then save up to 71% by getting them a magazine subscription. The glossy mags often come with high price free gifts such as nail varnishes or lipsticks , so it could be seen as the gift that just keeps on giving. Subscriptions start at £13.99 for a years supply and they even chuck in a free box of Lindt Chocolates. A different kind of gift, but a useful one.
I hope this has been a tad useful and has hopefully given you some ideas. If you have any top tips, then please leave a comment for others to see.
